Biography
Constantin Prozorov (born January 8, 1986 in Almaty, Kazakhstan) is a German artist who lives and works in Paris.
Raised in a humble, working class family, Prozorov grew up in awe of his art idols including Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, and filmmakers like Wes Anderson and Tim Burton. He continues to be captivated by their ability to immerse audiences in alluring worlds of colour, conceptual thought and storytelling. After studying Fashion and Communication Design in Munich and working for a period with Condé Nast in Paris, Prozorov moved to Berlin and decided to pursue a solo creative career. He began composing his own visual worlds that uniquely reflected his curiosities, his sources of inspiration, and his dreams.
Prozorov now specializes in immersive collages blending diverse elements from visual culture, creating new realities beyond the imagination. Each of his works is a layered narrative, drawing the viewer into a wondrous parallel universe with limitless creative possibilities. Created with a digital collage technique that brings Prozorov’s compositions to life as moving animations, his approach represents a new dimension of visual language. The work speaks to people from all walks of life across contemporary society.
His compositions are defined by a kaleidoscope of characters, symbols and motifs, inviting both literal and surreal interpretations based on each viewer’s personal experiences. Luxury fashion and reimagined objects, mythical creatures and mesmerizing textures, nature-inspired forms and urban environments are often composed in one enigmatic image. While collage art has existed for centuries, Prozorov has propelled the medium to the forefront of contemporary culture and society. Through the power of digital technology, he has developed his own niche for immersive storytelling on social media via his unmistakable stylistic lens.
