"Distorted Perception"
All human interaction is based on reflection. Any relationship and its companying communication gives us the chance to reflect our human activity and emotions. 

We all know that it is easy to judge ourself and other people due to our subjective perspective. Thus it is very important being integrated in a social fabric. Not for nothing an intense relationship can also be called a therapy.

Erich Fromm already wrote in his book The Art of Loving that „the opposite pole to narcissism(=subjectivity) is objectivity; it is the faculty to see people and things as they are, objectively, and to be able to separate this objective picture from a picture which is formed by one's desires and fears.“  - Ferry Mohr -
