A MERGER OF ART AND FASHION (2021) 

From October 1 to 7, 2021, in collaboration with CITY PARK ART SPACE, hosted “Constantin Prozorov: Beyond Fashion”, the artist’s first exhibition in Guangzhou, China. This comprehensive showcase reflected Prozorov’s creative journey over the years and marked the beginning of his China art tour.

“Constantin Prozorov: Beyond Fashion” was held at the CITY PARK Space Art Museum, a venue designed with a nature-inspired ecological concept. Its circular layout, greenery-filled interiors, and large glass screens seamlessly connected the landscape to the space, creating an environment that blended architecture with natural beauty.

The exhibition featured a diverse range of works, including collages, installations, sculptures, animated art, photographs, and stage designs. Themed “fashion encounters beyond time and space,” it captured Prozorov’s fascination with the emotional and philosophical aspects of life, inspiring viewers to explore the meaning of existence and the soul’s deeper workings.

Renowned for his surreal collages, Prozorov views art as a vessel for preserving the essence of its era, connecting the past, present, and future. His work transcends boundaries, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, and creating poetic, timeless expressions through destruction and reinvention.

“The two-dimensional to three-dimensional world is not reality, but collage art,” Prozorov reflects, highlighting the transformative nature of his work.
