Biography
Megan Hess was destined to draw. An initial career in graphic design transcended into art direction for some of the world's leading advertising agencies. In 2008 Hess illustrated the New York Times number one selling book, 'Sex and The City'.
She has illustrated for some of the world's top fashion and interior publications as well as worldwide ad campaigns. Most recently, her skills have been deployed by Henri Bendel, New York, to create a signature look for the prestigious department store. Hess's signature style can also be found on private art commissions from New York to Tokyo. Renowned clients include Fendi, Dr. Oetker Collection, Elisabetta Franchi, Cartier, Vogue Germany, UK Kerastasé L´Oreal, Taft Schwarzkopf, Henkel, Givenchy, Salvatore Ferragamo, Design Center London, Vogue UK, Vogue China, Mytheresa.com, Vanity Fair, Chanel, Tiffany & Co, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Mercedes Benz, Vogue and Time magazine. She states her inspirations as being family, fashion, art, travel, Hitchcock, Hepburn, 70's cocktails, architecture and mountains and mountains of chocolate.
